Ceremony Venues
THE CHAPEL
Our peaceful indoor chapel can seat 150 people. It’s the ideal canvas for you to dress up with your own style and theme.
THE SUPER BOWL
Our dramatic Super Bowl surrounds the dam and can seat as many as 700 people. And with other large venue options available, there’s always back-up in case the weather doesn’t go your way.
THE WARRIOR’S ARMS
The unique Warrior’s Arms Lapa is an idyllic setting for more intimate weddings of up to 60 people.

THE ROYAL WARRIOR
Our Royal Warrior venue can seat 300 people indoors and another 100 people on the covered verandah just outside. Doors along the side of the venue create a light and airy atmosphere, and the venue comes equipped with all the essentials, leaving it up to you to decide on the added colours and decor that will bring your day to life.
The “essentials” include all tables, plain table clothes, chairs with covers, standard glassware, cutlery and crockery.

CAFÉ TAGATI
Seating up to 130 people, Café Tagati, with it’s thatched roof, has an authentic African feel, overlooking the Superbowl water feature and Gazeebo. If you look out further over the grasslands, you may just be lucky enough to spot our resident wildlife.
The upstairs deck and spacious downstairs dining areas come equipped with chairs, tables, glassware, crockery and cutlery.

ESIBAYENI
“Esibayeni” is a Zulu word for “in the cattle kraal”. In Zulu culture, the cattle kraal is endued with significance and importance, just as your wedding day should be.
This venue seats a maximum of 100 people and as a standard includes all the tables, plain table clothes, chairs with covers, glassware, cutlery, and crockery that you will need.

MARQUEE SETUP AND HIRE
Our expansive grounds are ideal for a marquee or nomadic tent set-up. We’ll set you up with local suppliers and preferred vendors to help you create an ideal atmosphere.

Dundee Battlefields Lodge makes for an excellent conferencing venue in Dundee, the perfect corporate get-away and meeting place. We have a conference venue to suit all your business’s needs, whether large or small, and enough bedrooms to house 140 delegates sharing. If your conference is larger than 140 pax please speak to us for alternative solutions.
Aside from our main conferencing venues we are able to provide break-away rooms/areas on request.
For catering, please enquire about our suggested menus and rates as we will tailor-make a menu to suit your budget. This can be discussed with our Food & Beverage Manager when you make your booking.

Venues
THE ROYAL WARRIOR
The Royal Warrior Conference Venue overlooks the airstrip and sports field in a more private area of the Lodge. It has a verandah with an outside picnic-type setting that is perfect for tea and lunch breaks.
The kitchen at the Royal Warrior is merely a preparation area for serving, so please keep this in mind if you bring caterers in. No stoves or ovens are available for cooking in this venue. Please discuss your menu, fridge, and food needs with our manager when you book.
This is a large venue ideal for big groups, but can also be sectioned in half for smaller meetings.

ESIBAYENI
This smaller venue is set in the beautiful gardens of the grounds and is a short walk to Café Tagati.

SPORTS BAR
A favourite venue for small groups of about 30 people, the Sports Bar is situated overlooking the Super Bowl and grounds of the lodge. This venue has a built-in projector and pull down screen that can be used for your conference, as well as a big screen for sport should you be interested in watching a game.
We can provide tea/coffee and snacks in this venue, and delegates can hop across to the Café for larger meals.
KINGS VIEW
The King’s View room is a good choice for intimate meetings and can be used as a break-away room for small discussion groups.
We will light a fire for you in the Winter months so that you can catch up on work whilst keeping warm.

Perfect for rugby festivals, tournaments and friendlies as well as pre-season training. Our fields are well maintained and have spectator stands for guests to sit on.

Perfect for soccer tournaments, festivals and friendlies. Ideal training grounds for pre and mid season practices.
